For a long time now I've watched many horror movies. Having slept through more horrific nightmares.
In a first person veiw of the world you are thrust into. Forced to watch through someone elses eyes as they make their way into a dark foyer. She or he doesn't close the door hands busy with keys luggage. A brilliant flash from lightning reveal shadows further into the dwelling. What did you glimpse there in a shadow cast
by the brown leather couch. You quickly move towards the nearest light switch only to find it doesn't work.
Glancing back over your shoulder through the open door slams shut with a loud clap. Halting your intent to see that maybe houses on the block are also without lights. Run into the kitchen open a drawer where you'll
find the flashligt. Pushing the black rubber button on it's shaft only to find it doesn't work.
You were just trying to be prepared for an occassion such as this only to neglect what gives it power for a couple years. Blindly you feel around the junk receptical for batteries slicing your finger on something sharp.... To be continued.
